What We Believe

God is for you.

Sometimes it feels like everyone or everything is working against you. But Jesus loves you more than anything in the world. No matter how many mistakes you've made, He's always there, loving you. You are special to Him, which means you are special to us.

God has a plan for you.

God created you and has big things in store for you. Whether you've known Him your whole life or you doubt whether this Jesus guy is who He says he is, God has a plan for you. We'll help you figure out what that plan is and what your next steps might be.

You are welcome just as you are.

We like to think that we're "imperfect people loving imperfect people." Like you, we make mistakes and aren't perfect. Thankfully, Jesus meets us (and you!) right where we are. You don't have to "get your act together" before coming to church. No matter who you are or what you've done, you can find a place here.

Check us out from the comfort of home.

This Week in Worship: Frequently Asked Questions

You asked. We answer. Join us for this new sermon series as we tackle the highest voted questions from our recent Frequently Asked Question poll. Don't miss your favorite! Check out the schedule below to see what we'll be covering! Listen to past sermons from this series.

June 28/29: Can we trust the Bible?

If we are supposed to take the Bible as the truth, how come some of the stories (especially in the Old Testament) are very far-fetched? How can we take it as God’s Word? Critics may say we just find verses and passages to fit what we want. Is it really necessary to take everything in the Bible literally? Will I go to hell if I do not believe a snake really talked to Eve?

July 5/6: Heaven is for Real

In light of the popularity of the book “Heaven is for Real” and the recent movie, what does scripture actually say about heaven? What will we be like? Will we really have wings? Will we see our departed loved ones again? Are there animals in heaven? Can those who have died still see us here on Earth?

July 12/13: Angels and Demons

What does the Bible teach about angels? Who are they? What do they do?

July 19/20: Revelation Mysteries

What do the images in Revelation mean? (Horsemen, Bowls, 4-headed creatures, etc.) What does the Bible say about the end time events? How does this relate to people and organizations predicting the end of world?

July 26/27: How Do You Get to Heaven?

If salvation and eternal life come from Jesus, what happened to everyone that died before Jesus was born? Will I have to go to purgatory first?

August 2/3: Why Did God Give Us Free Will?

Why did God give us free will? Will we have free will in heaven? If God is all-knowing from beginning to end, why would He create life and our world, knowing that His Son would have to suffer and die?

August 9/10: Weird Animals VBS Reunion

We take a break from the Frequently Asked Questions series to re-visit our Vacation Bible School Theme!

August 16/17: The Lord's Supper

Please explain Holy Communion. Does it represent Christ’s body and blood or is it actually His body and blood? How does this happen?

August 23/24: Is Christianity Dead in America?

Christianity is growing in the world. Why is it declining in North America? What are we doing wrong?

August 30/31: Where is God When I'm Anxious?

How can I keep anxiety from pulling me away from God?
