2019-2020 Variable Tithe Designations

2019-2020 Variable Tithe Designations

At First Trinity, we tithe 10% of our income to Christian ministries outside First Trinity (what joy to have the opportunity to be generous with what God has given us!). We love contributing to God’s work in our community, nation, and world. For 2019-2020, that means giving away approximately $82,500. While most of that is designated and amounts are in the budget, we have about $8,300 of variable tithe monies yet to designate.  At our congregational meeting on September 19, 2020, people will be given the opportunity to help decide how much of that $8,300 goes to which ministries. You will receive a cup with 10 marbles in it and you can place your marbles in whichever jar (each jar represents one of the ministries) you like. The $8,300 will be divided proportionately and sent to these ministries. The six ministries below represent a variety of Christian ministries, all doing God’s work in the world.  Please read the facts about the ministries below and pray about where you will place your marbles.

Because addiction destroys more than the body, their programs consider all aspects of our students’ lives. Addiction starts as a way to fulfill a void that only God can fill, so a strong relationship with the Lord is foundational to their program.
