LHM Men's NetWork -
Keeping men
connected to their Savior
The Christian Church today is under fire from
all sides-spiritually, culturally, politically,
socially, and morally. To thrive, the church needs the
spiritual muscle and perspective men can uniquely
provide. Are you up for the challenge?
Men's NetWork provides resources to help
men claim their leadership in their home, their church
and community and most importantly as the spiritual
leader of their household.
The
LHM Men's Network
is designed to establish new or strengthen existing
men's ministry groups, and offers many versatile
ministry tools. Video-based
Bible studies
will explore relevant topics. Popular film reviews and
discussion points will examine the content and appeal of
selected movies.

Crossroads Workcamp 2008: Piqua, OH
Our high school youth
group, Crossroads, spent Workcamp 2008
in Piqua, Ohio.
Piqua is a city of
approximately 21,000 people in west central Ohio. Piqua
offers a quiet "rural quality of life" that is just
minutes away from big city attractions in Dayton and
within 100 miles of the larger cities of Columbus,
Cincinnati,
Indianapolis, and
Toledo. The
population is not growing and is both aging and poor. It also has a growing
number of families headed by single mothers trying to make ends meet. Piqua
struggles with issues related to increasingly deteriorating homes and poverty in
many neighborhoods. Going to Piqua allowed Crossroads youth to help Piqua's struggling
residents' vision of having a better home become a
reality.
