Personal Spiritual Direction

Campus Ministry at the University
of Buffalo
We support financially and verbally the Lutheran Campus Ministry at the University of Buffalo.

Habitat for Humanity
Habitat was founded in 1976 with Habitat Buffalo initiated in 1985. This organization is a not for profit Christian group of committed volunteers with a ministry of providing home ownership to low income families. For more information contact us or call the church at 716-835-2220.

Friends of the Night People
This is a soup kitchen located in downtown Buffalo which serves approximately 175 -200 homeless and poor people daily. Regularly the Servants of Christ LIFE group at First Trinity coordinates the congregation in the preparation of food, its delivery and the serving of a full meal in support this mission to serve the homeless and functionally poor. The services offered by Friends of the Night People, Inc. include providing meals, health care, clothing and helping individuals and families find permanent housing and obtain job training.

First Trinity prepares and serves the meal this on the 3rd Sunday of the odd month (Jan/Mar...) First Trinity has been involved in this ministry for almost 18 years.

Food Pantry

Regional Ministries

Camp Pioneer
Located in Angola, NY, this camp and retreat center provides year round facilities in an outdoor setting that offers a safe joy filled experience where lives are renewed and strengthened in Christ. Ministry groups targeted for Camp Pioneer include young children, teens, adults, seniors, the disabled, singles and those who are married. Families, youth, teen Christian groups and the developmentally disabled are also high priority ministry targets. For more information call 716-549-1420.

Lutheran Association for the Developmentally Disabled (L.A.D.D.)
A ministry First Trinity supports in which three thrift stores are in business to serve the purpose of raising money for six homes that minister to developmentally disabled children. These programs are always looking for donations and volunteer help. For more information Contact us or call the church at 716-835-2220.

National Ministries

Youth Work Camps
Two out of three summers, our senior high youth group travels to another state to work with Christian teens from all over the country to repair and refurbish the homes of elderly and needy families. Our youth have traveled to Vermont, Tennessee, Georgia, Pennsylvania and North Carolina to participate in these life-changing experiences of faith.

Fort Wayne Seminary
Fort Wayne, Indiana. Concordia Theological Seminary is an institution of theological higher education of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod dedicated primarily to the preparation of students for the pastoral ministry and missions of the LCMS. Its programs and services offer an understanding of the Christian faith which is Biblically centered, confessionally Lutheran, and evangelically active. St. Louis Seminary
